11 Must Haves Still in Stock at the #Nsale!

Wow, Nordstrom Anniversary Sale — affectionately dubbed the #nsale –– certainly gets people a little crazy. There’s definitely nothing we need, but there are definitely items I’d purchase purchasing anyway… plus, I mean, the allure of cozy fall items can be pretty tempting. While some items sold out already, there are some serious gems still available in all the departments. For reference, you can see my initial try-on session here.

Also, please know I’m not about buying to buy, and definitely not if it’s not in your current budget. Don’t get wrapped up in what other people or bloggers must have. Some of the excess honestly grosses me out. That said, if I can share with you some great finds from the sale that might be helpful to you, that’s what I’m here for. So let’s do it…. here are 11 items still in stock at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that are totally worth it.

FOR KISSABLE LIPS: Fresh Lip Set (here)

Beauty is one of the underdogs of the #nsale; people are purchasing sweaters when friends, there’s awesome discounts and specialty packages on items we’d purchase anyway. You can scope out all the beauty deals here (talking shampoos, moisturizers, lip sets, etc). I’m very into this palette (the colors are perfection and the size is perfect) as well as the new Beachwaver that’s on a major sale (what I use to curl my hair however it’s only the 1.25 barrel; which is perfect for longer hair…. I use the 1″ or even .75), however a simple favorite: my Fresh Beauty obsession. I live for the brand’s hydrating lip therapy called “sugar” so getting its popular lip polish and a bright, hydrating lip gloss (I have a few of these in other colors) for just a few dollars more is an awesome deal. I have tried so many less expensive items and always return to this and always have one in my purse.

THE BOOTIE: The Classic BP Bootie (here)

Every girl needs a cute, basic bootie that’s comfortable, goes with jeans and dresses and skirts and all the things. This BP bootie is every year a top seller. It comes in a bunch of colors though I’m loving this rich camel brown that you can mix and match with just about everything. It screams fall, even if it’s still 90 degrees out…. and thankfully is super budget friendly at under $70. If you’re looking for another option that’s also waterproof, I really love this super cute pair by Blondo (that I wore in this try-on session post)… they are really comfortable, and the side detail is extra special.

GO THIGH HIGH: The Under $100 Over-the-Knee Boot I Bought (here)

These boots are IDENTICAL to a pair that I have seen everywhere on social media and with bloggers for two years but were $160ish, and I never went for it. I’ve heard these are incredibly comfortable, look so good, and stay over-the-knee, which I love. You can’t beat the price for under $100 for the chic look, pointed toe and lower heel that you can dress up or down. I plan to wear these with leggings, denim, etc and with dresses.

GET COZY: Barefoot Dreams Cardigan (here)

The famous Barefoot Dreams cardigan that I’ve only been talking about for about five years is back, and on sale! It’s basically like wearing a blanket around the house, to the movies, for travel — I’m constantly taking it with me somewhere or immediately tossing it on over my comfies when I am lounging around at night.

Barefoot Dreams actually now has a couple of styles on sale; there’s honestly a few really awesome styles now… so it’s just personal preference based on color, style, etc. Check all Barefoot Dreams sale here (and ps: I’ve purchased in the past and saved for my mom and mother-in-law for the holidays, for example!).

THE EVERYDAY TOTE: Madewell cross-body (here)

My favorite, favorite cross body! I got the original version from Madewell last year and live for it (did not get on sale, ps). Madewell leather is such a great quality, particularly for the price point. While I didn’t love Madewell’s options last year, this is so on point with this gorgeous suede stripe and the camel or olive green colors. I’m always impressed how much I can fit in here too, and it’s perfect when navigating with kids. I can also hold the strap if I don’t want it to feel so casual. For $111, it’s honestly a great buy and one I can’t say enough good things about.

FOR THE GIRLS: Treasure & Bond booties (here)

I hate spend lots of money on kids shoes, yet still want decent quality. I got these for Sarah last year and she wore them so much that I just ordered her another pair for this year.

BECAUSE THEY NEED ‘EM ANYWAY: Tucker & Tate Underwear (girls, boys)

Not a glamorous purchase, but nothing is worse than kids complaining about things like underwear or realizing your kiddos pairs are like three sizes too small (been there). Sarah loves these by Tucker & Tate, so much so that I spent yup, like $50-$75 stocking up on them for summer camp — now of course they’re on sale and I’m definitely getting another pack or two! I equally love these trunks for boys, though they’re currently sold out (I’ve been seeing some re-stocks of items so I’m linking it here). For more super handsome finds for boys, check here (loving all the sneaks, sporty clothes and polos).

FOR HIM (& UPPING THE CUTE TUSH FACTOR): The Best Pants, from AG (here)

The obsession is real with these pants around our home, and with many of our friends. They fit like jeans but look like pants, and girls, they make the tush look GOOD. Ha, I mean what kind of chick would I be if I didn’t just say it like it was? 🙂 We love the fit on these — slim but not skinny — super flattering, and they wear really well. Adam has collected 5-6 pairs over the past few years and are basically what we wears to work with a button down, and for nights out if he’s not wearing jeans. AG has a few styles and honestly think they have a pretty similar fit. Nordstrom also has alterations (which are complimentary up to a certain amount with our credit card) so if his inseam isn’t available and they’re on sale, I’ll often snag a pair with the right waist site and have them hemmed, keeping the original hem.

BLING BLING: The perfect under $50 hoops (here)

Available in silver, gold and rose gold, these are getting lots of positive reviews and I can see why. I’ve you been debating jumping on the hoops bandwagon, this light-weight, kinda blingy (but not over-the-top) pair are perfect. I wear hoops constantly and I love how they dress up just about any look (without weighing my ears down). Plus, how cool is the extra detail in the inside of these hoops? Love.

BECAUSE, BLACK LEGGINGS: The famous pair by Zella (classic, and with pockets)

There’s a reason these bad boys have over 6,000 5-star reviews! They’re thicker, suck you in, have a higher waist and are perfect for working out, pretending like you worked out, to wear with sweaters and sneaks or just about anything else. Every year these are a top seller, for good reason, and this year they came out with a new pair: side-pockets and a 7/8th length! I tried both on and get the hype, plus you can’t beat a fantastic quality pair of leggings for under $40. You can find the original pair here, and the pocket version here; they’re both great, it honestly just depends on what style you’re looking for (the 7/8th length was great for my 5’3 frame).

FOR THE HOME: The Softest Tassel Detailed Throw (here)

Friends, I got this throw last year in two colors — the dark grey for our living room and the blush for Sarah’s room — and they’re constantly rotating around our house because they’re so freaking soft and oversized, cozy, and the tassel detail makes them stylish for laying across your couch or bed. At $25 and available in 13 colors, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better option that also wears well and stands up to washing, etc. You can also keep this stored in a cute wicker basket, with the tassels tossed out (love for a guest room or family room so it’s functional, too). You can find more home sale here.
