Night Out Outfit Formula

Sometimes you just need to look pulled together for a night out — holidays, date night, girls night — without all the fuss or fanciness. Blazers are huge right now, and particularly if you’re in a warmer climate where you only want one layering piece, it’s a fun alternative to your go-to denim, cargo or moto jacket.

Think about new ways to wear items already in your closet. I’ve had this blazer for years and years and usually wear it for work; it’s just how my brain works. It was fun to throw it on over a subtly sexy camisole for a look that’s perfect for a night out outfit.  This camisole comes in a ton of colors, including red, green and blue, which would be perfect for the holidays.

It’s super versatile, and grabbing your white blazer is a fresh way to stand out in a sea of black this time of year. Plus, swap out my open-toed sandals for booties, heels, anything. The options are endless.
