Ogle or Own: Lace-Up Flats

While I don’t plan on spending an astounding $700 on a pair of flats anytime soon (or ever, for that matter), I find anything by the designer, Aquazzura absolutely stunning. The lace-up booties, heels and flats are simply beautiful. Beautiful. But girl’s got to eat dinner, take care of her kids, down the wine, and live a little. Enter, a really good look for less.

Anyone ever say, I don’t need another pair of black shoes?! Ha, probably not. I actually don’t wear a ton of black but pointy toe black flats have been a closet staple for a few years now, and this style for fall is so good.  The Topshop pair (bottom right) are on their way to me now (yay!) and frankly all the options here are a fabulous deal at a fraction of the price of the designer look. What’s great about this ogle or own is that the designer look is not so obvious or mainstream (i.e. Valentino Rockstuds) that everyone will think you’re playing copy cat. In this case, you just have a fun pair of lace-up flats that your girlfriends will be jealous of, and where strangers will ask where you got them. Boy does that make a girl feel good!
