The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Ultimate Try-On Session

It’s finally here… the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018! If you’re not familiar, this is Nordstrom’s major Anniversary Sale where it temporarily marks down new fall merchandise — apparel, shoes, stuff for the kiddos, beauty, accessories and home — for just a few weeks, before going back to full price.

I know it can be tough to think about booties and sweaters in the middle of the summer but there are some serious steals during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, particularly in home and beauty, plus in apparel on items we wear year-round (think denim & tees!).

I spent HOURS at Nordstrom Anniversary Sale at The Gardens Mall trying on everything, finding the hits and misses and figuring out sizing to help you. I will update this page so you can use it as an #nsale reference when you’re shopping online or in store. I would be an awful blogger, friend and human if I didn’t tell you about a few things. First, MY TOWELS. I bought the Nordstrom at Home Hydrocloth Towels two years ago and last year I got a few more… I’m so in love with them; they’re soft, durable, dry well, all the things you’d want in a towel, and at the sale  price (we have them in white), they’re such a winner! BEST UNDER $10 PURCHASE: Barefoot dreams socks (here)

You guys, I found these on QVC last year I treated myself to a blush pair; I’m telling you they are bliss. Not for now, but come fall and cold winter nights (I know, I live in Florida… but I LOVE cozy socks!), they were the best, along with a Barefoot Dreams cardigan or jacket. This and this are my favorites this season.

TRUST. You guys know I’ve been talking about them for years — Adam and I even got our moms them as gifts one holiday season because they’re that amazing. I now have three and wear my Barefoot dreams cardigan/jacket/blanket/piece of heaven around the house, to the movies, for travel, errands, you name it!

Best Jacket

Remember the suede moto jacket (I have it in grey, seen here)? Well, it’s back in two colors but the real jacket winner is this Blank NYC faux leather/hooded sweatshirt jacket at only $65… plus the hood is removable! I wore it in the video but failed to snap a photo — sorry! Our store only had it in black but I’m seriously in love with the lighter “mushroom” shade, too. Looks feels great.

KIDS SHOES

You can definitely stock up for back to school but my brain isn’t personally there yet. HOWEVER, it’s always a good time to get shoes for the kiddos at a discounted price. There are some adorable sneakers, flats, boots, etc… and for right now, I’m snagging these Natives for Evan (I also love the Gator colors!). 😉

 

COZY CASHMERE

I live in Florida so I’m fully that girl that bypasses the cashmere in lieu of all the cute cozy cardigans (there are so many this year!), however this wrap is GORGEOUS… and super functional as a scarf, too. If you have any travel plans or live anywhere colder, I love the idea of this this super soft, chic piece.
