Something parents need a lot of: cards and invitations!
From the time you get engaged until your little one graduates college, get ready… there are a lot of decisions to make and add this one to the list.
In recent years we can all agree that e-cards have become a growing way to share celebrations, however I’m totally one of those sentimental paper card nerds who absolutely love getting snail mail, too.
Check this out: One of my favorite new site finds for custom graduation announcements and other milestone moments is Basic Invite. If you haven’t heard of this growing site, my favorite feature is that it’s one of very few that enable you to match basically any design with unlimited color combinations. I know I’ve been frustrated in the past when a site has a fab design but not in the color I want; this eliminates that… swap the color of each card element to any of over 180 colors. Love that custom feel (without a major price tag). You can also select from 40 envelope colors so your card makes a statement when it’s pulled from the mailbox.
Basic Invite also has cards for birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, bridal showers, weddings (including save the dates), baby showers, first birthdays, etc., and also beautiful stationary as well as business needs, too. Again, all with those custom capabilities to distinguish your card from the rest.
By the way, I’m obsessed with its wedding invitation sets… there’s more than 200 to select from, and as you can see, include every last detail. The fonts, the paper, the styles are all so good.
Basic Invite lets you get a real custom sample of any invite (or just an email one, if you prefer) before it goes to print so you can see it IRL before placing the entire order.
Sure, ordering invites for my kid’s 8th birthday likely will be a evite because it’s fast, easy & makes it helpful to parents who’s getting them, however, I love to see how printed invitations and sets are evolving and becoming such special keepsakes. Check out Basic Invite to see all their styles here!
Thank you to Basic Invite for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100 percent my own. Thank you for supporting brands that support The Modern Savvy!
