Ok, let’s get serious. Holiday parties are FUN (well, let’s assume we’re not chasing after kids for a minute)… assuming there are GOOD eats. I’m all about easy, delicious and perhaps slightly inventive appetizers that people can nosh on all-night. I’m not a five-course dinner party kind of host but I love “dinner by the bite” while sipping fun drinks and cherishing my family and friends. We all want to make an enjoy easy holiday appetizers perfect for a big party, or a casual night in with the girls.
Whether the party is at your house — or you’ve scored an invite elsewhere — a good first course that appeals to a wide variety of people is always a crowd pleaser. I’m known for my baked brie, and love putting together a good cheese plate with finds from Trader Joe’s. I’m also completely salivating over the relatively easy appetizers you can make this season…
Melty Mozzarella Dip (amazing, just don’t serve over light carpet!) #clumsy
Deviled Eggs with Old Bay Shrimp (save a step by using fresh cooked shrimp)
Cranberry Brussel Sprouts, Butternut & Brie Skillet Nachos (this combines SO many of my loves!)
