Best Nude Sandals for Summer

You guys, go nude. It’s time to break the cycle of gravitating toward the black sandals because going nude is having a moment. You like that by the way? How many times can I awkwardly say that in a blog post? 🙂 Seriously though, whether it’s flip flops, sandals, wedges or heels, the neutral hue works double time: it lengthens and flatters your legs, and also lightens up the look of all your outfits.

I used to work with someone who often opted for a nude pair of heels when I would have traditionally gone with a black pair and you know what, I LOVED the result. Since then I’ve loved reaching for my nude footwear and I’m encouraging you to do so… particularly since there are so many stinkin’ cute pairs out there if you don’t already own. I legit have about 6-8 pairs; flip flops, two wedges (one cloth and the other patent leather), flats, pointy toe heels, lace-up block heels, and one or two that veer toward metallics.

Here are the best nude sandals for the season; #1 (and its 9, 10 counterparts) are a classic for any closet, #3 is cork, on sale and even more awesome in person, #2, well scallops, and 5, 8 and 16 are awesome designer knock-offs. Pay close attention to 16 actually… it’s just $33; it’s a Valentino look-a-like… I have the Rebecca Minkoff version and if this had existed, I would have just purchased these. Wear with shorts or wear as a dressy flat with skirts & dresses.
