Each New Year brings a renewed sense of motivation. Whether your goal is to focus on a healthier you or finally get organized, the New Year is a time to conquer your resolutions…. though you never need to wait for a ball drop to make a change in the right direction.
Every year, I set an intention to read more. I’m trying, I promise. There are so many fantastic books out there and so little time (or so it seems). To keep myself on track and inspired, I compile a list each year of must-reads, at least in my book (see what I did there?). This year’s list includes a few 2015 end-of-year releases and favorites, as well as a few highly anticipated 2016 reads. I’m excited to lose myself in a book, to be inspired, and to get a break from screen time (kiddies aren’t the only ones who need a daily time limit!). Happy reading.
The Fifth Wave // Rogue Lawyer // Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
See Me // How To Be A Person In The World // Year of Yes
Gloria Steinhem: My Life on the Road // Fates and Furies // The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up
The Nightingale// A Mother’s Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy // Go Set A Watchman
What are you looking forward to read? Comment below if you have any other recommendations! Happy 2016…. let’s make this the best one yet.

January 2, 2016 at 9:26 AMHave you ever tried audiobooks? So much easier to get reading done. You can listen while you are driving, cooking, cleaning, etc.
