Outfit: Girls Night Out

Seriously, don’t tell my husband but girls nights out are my FAVORITE! Actually, I might love a girls night in even more (think all the benefits of a GNO but in pjs!) though you get the point…. they’re so fun, an opportunity to laugh and hang with your besties, and build memories with the fantastic women in your life. Get us some fun cocktails, a plate of nachos (seriously, you can woo me with nachos any day!), chocolate and all the other eats and drinks and this girl is seriously happy.

This outfit just screams summer night… and in particular, GNO!

I bought this fun scalloped OTS (off-the-shoulder) blouse while in Nashville … turns out, it’s another one by the boutique brand, Naked Zebra, (remember the fab tank from this post?) and I love, love, love that Amazon carries the brand, too… for about $10-$20 less than I’ve seen at any boutique (and those prices are already great considering the quality). Instead of grabbing for your black blouse, refresh your wardrobe with a few brighter options like this periwinkle blue, a blush, a creamy white, or whatever hue best complements your skin tone.

Style tip: opt for a bold earring, like a modern take on the hoop, as seen here, and let your neckline shine. A dainty choker is also beautiful, and use a purse or a shoe to add a fun print, some bold colors, etc. The best part about a solid colored blouse like this is that you can style is differently each time. Wear it with white denim, with cut-off shorts, with another style earring, or anything else. Seriously, blouses like this are mega wardrobe workhorses!
