Outfit: Stripes and Plaid

Just because it’s Fall in Florida doesn’t mean we can’t embrace the fun trends. The temperatures dipped this week, and it was actually chilly when we photographed this stripes and plaid look on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach the other day. I was chilly in the shade! #floridagirl

This boatneck tee with fringe details is one of my favorite recent purchases, with the fringe detail adding that interesting element that seperates it from my other tees (and dresses it up a bit while still being comfy), and the plaid scarf has a prettiest metallic stitching on the edges. Best of all, both are part of the J. Crew 40% off sale… worth scooping up while you can! I’ve been really impressed how J. Crew has moderated its prices (they were going sky high for a while), and the site is worth looking around for yourself, fam and for gifts.

A scarf like this is such an excellent way to stay warm in obviously colder climates, but also in more moderate ones like Florida and other southern states. I often keep one in this LV tote for cooler days so I can take it on and off without having to carry a jacket.

Here’s a WAY better picture of my new tassel keychain/bag charm that was a super fun Target impulse purchase I shared on Monday. Adam was with me, and of course had to question my decision. Men! Ha. I didn’t let it stop me and I love how it gives my classic tote an updated style. Best $8 purchase (I’ve seen similar for $60+)!
