10 Cool Office Supplies for Your Work Space

The kiddies shouldn’t have all the fun. Who else loves a pretty, organized desk? A few of you have asked about my favorite office supplies so for back-to-school I couldn’t resist sharing the best of the best. Gold anything pretty much tops my list, and whether you have an office, a desk, or even an edge of your nightstand, a few simple, functional pieces will make your work time way more productive (and happy!).

1. Acrylic monogrammed pencil cup: This is by far my favorite! Yup, it’s a “pencil cup” but you can put anything in here, and the monogrammed touch is such a nice detail. I’ve also ordered these over the years for new staff members.
2. Super chic notepad: I love a really good notepad and I’ve seriously been ogling this brand-new style by Ashley Brooke Designs. How fun is the palm print, with so many pretty gold foil details?
3. Great file folders: I have a few sets from Nate Berkus for Target collection from a few years back and they always make me wonder how I dealt with the bland manila options for so long; after all, these and others are all so inexpensive… what a fun way to add personality to your space, and meetings.
4. File organizer: OMG, Target has the BEST office supplies, and each season it keeps getting better. Half my office supplies are from the Nate Berkus for Target collection, and this under $20 white and gold find is a fab way keep your key files looking ultra stylish. 5. Letter organizer: Keeping papers organized can be an office space’s biggest challenge. I require a traditional file organizer like the one above but how cute is this elephant with rave reviews for mail, current projects or your to-do list (possibly in lieu of an inbox)? It can sit on your desk or be hung, and this cute elephant nearly all five star reviews.
6. Cable box organizer: holy heck you guys, did everyone know this existed but me?! I know have one en route to me thanks to working on this post (proof that blogging can be expensive! lol)… unsightly wires everywhere totally ruins a cool office vibe, and if you work from home with pets or young kids, you know the pain of those cute critters unplugging critical wires. This is genius.
7. Ruler/organizer: Man, Container Store does it again. This acrylic ruler has a number of functions beyond measuring: use it as a paperweight, and to hold small accessories like your phone, iPad mini, business cards, papers, mail, etc. I love the clean look of acrylic on my desk, which leads me to…
8. Acrylic stapler & tape: I have both of these, though I can’t recall from where. They look super pretty and the clear acrylic is a beautiful touch.
9. Lamp: light is necessary. Are you working in the dark? Perk up with a pretty lamp that gives you light right on your work. While lamps can be pricey, I love this beautiful option at under $30.
10. Fab coffee mug: here’s a duh. 🙂 Ok, maybe it’s for tea, but in my book, I need a good cup of coffee to start the day and love a fun mug. How cute is this one?!
