The $9 Striped Midi Dress

I can just stop here after that headline, right? Under $10 for a really stinkin’ cute striped midi dress that’s soft, flattering, comes in four colors and you can dress up or down? This dress from Wal-mart is another winner that has been so perfect for summer.

A few weeks ago I shared my Wal-mart one-piece bathing suits I found for under $20 — and loved that you guys were into the finds as I was. I thought it would be fun to follow it up with a ONE AND DONE outfit. Who else loves tossing on a dress where it’s basically one item and you’re ready to go? The best. Once you have in your closet it makes dressing so much easier. I’m continually impressed by what Wal-mart is showing up with in the fashion department this summer. You might have seen on my Instagram stories a few other finds that I found: this, this and this, for example. It’s so, so hot right now in Florida that I’m loving that we can scoop up some really cute clothes and accessories without worry about sweating and all the realities of summer fun (well, and errands, and life, lol).

By the way, this tote is such a good Madewell dupe! It’s more of a blush in person, though there are a few colors available (also love the olive green). And, I’ve been wearing these slides all summer… nicer than a flip flop and equally comfortable.
