Favorite Statement Earrings

I’m not sure when it happened, but that crazy love affair for statement necklaces in my early days of blogging (bubble necklace anyone?!), has given way to fabulous statement earrings. I love how even the most basic outfit looks elevated with statement earrings, and silly fact: in photos (or selfies!), they really help up your look! Think about it: most photos are from our chest up — sadly, our awesome shoes, purses and bracelets won’t make the cut — but killer earrings will.

The photo here are ones I’ve been wearing a ton this season and I thought I’d round up more favorite statement earrings if you’re looking for one or two new pairs. I’m all about statement yet light weight — so rarely will you see my wearing an earring that’s weighing down the lobes. Just not worth it.

Favorite earring brands:  BaubleBar as well its line at Target called SugarFix, Kendra Scott, Madewell, and Anthropologie.  It’s also fun to browse Nordstrom as well as Shopbop… they have brands you know, but there’s always amazing emerging brands under $100 so you can score something a bit different. Plus free shipping & returns so I’ve learned to check there over the years.
