Outfit: Exposed Shoulder

Exposed shoulders seem to be the “it” accessory of the season. Whether your blouse is completely off the shoulder (and hopefully it doesn’t ride up; annoying first world problem!), or a little cold shoulder action like this one, it’s a fun little way to show a little skin without being showy…. and hey, my shoulder is way more toned than my belly! Win.

I found this blouse at Marson, a favorite local boutique in Abacoa in Jupiter that my friend, Katrina owns. You know the girl who always looks casually adorable, with the best t-shirts, denim & cool accessories? That’s Katrina… so when she opened her shop last year I was all over it. Plus, she sells my favorite jewelry line, Alexandra Gioia, which pairs perfectly with most blouses and breezy dresses. Coincidentally my necklace is AG, though I ordered it on the Etsy shop.

Ok, back to this outfit… navy and white, and stripes & espadrilles. Summer in an outfit. If you’re unsure of what to wear anytime, this combination is timeless and effortless. Commit to finding a pair of white denim that you LOVE. Not too tight, not see-thru (have your seamstress remove and cut-out the front pockets if need be; this pair doesn’t even have any!), and feel like a million dollars wearing yours regardless of the brand or price tag. When your tush is on display…
