Loading up on plenty of h2o (and cocktails!) is critical this time of year. And, while I personally try to avoid sugary drinks, sodas and stick to the real deal, it can get just a little bit boring sometimes.
To stay hydrated, I absolutely love the idea of elevating your basic ice cubes from ho-hum to totally fun! (yup, I know, totally cheesy that it rhymed… sorry!). It’s so super easy for yourself, and if you’re entertaining, you pretty much look like a Pinterest rock-star when all you did was toss some ingredients in a ice cube tray.

INGREDIENTS & KITCHEN SUPPLIES //
Large ice cube making trays (I have this)
Slices of lemons and limes
Diced strawberries and basil
Blueberries
… OR any of your favorite fruits that you know you and your kiddies will enjoy!
PREP //
Simply fill the ice cube trays partially full with water then add the slices of lemons and limes and fill to the rest of the way with water.
Freeze.
Fill your cup, on-the-go tervis or sippy-cup with a few cubes and the rest with some H2O.
