Every weekend, I live for a pair of comfy shorts. I’ve mentioned it before that I used to wear jeans even in 90 degree weather but I just can’t do it anymore. This scalloped pair from J. McLaughlin from last season continues to be a closet staple… I love being able to dress them up or down. I wore them to a friend’s party last year (here; one of my favorite looks ever), and now, with the best white tee, tassel necklace and sneaks, it’s perfect for my weekend gig in crazy errands mode while toting around kids who want air conditioning, snacks and who knows what else. That’s where having the tote filled with randomness comes in oh-so handy!
Tee: Madewell (via here or here <— the best under $20 tee & comes in tons of colors!) // Shorts: c/o J. McLaughlin // Sneakers: Converse // Necklace: c/o Baublebar // Denim Jacket: H&M (old; similar here) // Tote: Louis Vuitton // Bracelets: Shashi
By the way, thank you all so, so much for your words of support and encouragement regarding my breast augmentation (check them out below!). See, nothing crazy, and don’t tell my doctor I quickly changed out my sports bra since I’m wearing it for about another week but I’m loving the result. Kind of crazy to see the result… still getting used to it, but I’m so happy with my decision. I feel confident in my skin, more proportionate and proud of myself for going for it.

June 22, 2016 at 11:05 AMI’m glad you are happy. I may do the same someday now that I see a lot of other online personalities getting surgeries. The funny thing is, though…when reading your blog post and looking at the photos I don’t even notice that anything is different about you. But you didn’t do it to get attention…You did it more to draw attention away, probably…and I can relate…

June 22, 2016 at 12:00 PMTotally… it wasn’t for anyone else, not for my husband or anyone, just to balance me out, make me feel good when I look in the mirror. It’s not as obvious here but there’s definitely a change that I’m loving in clothing. I still need to get used to how these girls look in bathing suits though — what a change. 😉
