When it comes to weekend style, bright colors, flats or sneakers, and easy ability to layer, are all essential components of my true personal style. I’m on the go, I’m toting tired kids (my six-year old is about 55 lbs and four-feet tall!), running errands, and just trying to look semi pulled together.
This must be one of my favorite outfits as I love how the colors all come together, particularly thanks to my new Tory Burch tote. I love the infusion of color and how it’s going to add personality to even the tee & jeans look, or a more formal work outfit. The watercolor print just brings a smile to my face.
I’m also semi fanatical over my new Lilly Pulitzer bright pink cardigan that I exchanged from a poncho that wasn’t working for me. I love a good cardigan, and this is one I’m going to be reaching for pretty much for the next eight months. Find one or two great ones — a bright and either a navy, grey or black — and use them as the perfect layering tool.
How fab is the back of this tank? My friend, Katrina, who I was introduced to a few years ago just opened up this boutique, Marston, in this cute downtown area called Abacoa, and I’m in love with everything. I’ve also considered her a friend with great taste; not to sound all girl crush but going there: she’s that girl who always wears the prettiest delicate jewelry, who even her tee and jeans has a special, pulled together feel. Well, her boutique is like that. Elevated basics with a mix of special pieces like this tank, great denim, beautiful blouses and an awesome mix of jewelry and accessories. I should say that purchased this tank, she has no idea I’m writing this…. and I’m just pretty pumped I can now buy what she loves! (so check it out if you’re local!). I tried finding this tank online, too, but no go… sorry!
