Cute Plaid Top for Spring

Everyone wants a few “going out shirts” or tops that seamlessly go from weeknight to week end. I know I do, and it’s what me and my girlfriends are always looking for when we’re trying to update our closet. It’s always a fresh top for our denim! You too?

I saw my blog bestie Kim mention this top a few weeks ago and I thought it was the cutest thing, totally different than anything I own, and score: under $25! Doesn’t it look way pricier? I immediately hit purchase, perfect for our Disney cruise. Funny enough, I wore it for the Pirate themed night (ha!), and also wore it again this week with different jewelry for a new look.

For more fun spring tops, I highly suggest a few spots right now: LOFT, Ann Taylor (both of which have great sales going on right now), Target and Nordstrom.

In Florida it’s one of those tops you can wear year-round, but if you’re looking to freshen up for your spring tops situation, I’d totally suggest this plaid top. I’m wearing a size small; it doesn’t ride up too much on the shoulders, and I have a bit of room for the front tuck I love so much.

PS: With a nagging sprained ankle and recently broken pinky toe (seriously, must slow down), I’ve been rotating the same 2-3 pairs of shoes. I love these slides however if you’re looking for wedges, I’m coveting this ruffle pair and/or this stacked pair, both under $80, as well as this adorable bow pair that’s currently under $30.
