Talbots x Oprah Magazine Collection

Talbots launched last week its third partnership with Oprah Magazine and as if Oprah, amazing stripes & fun ladybug prints doesn’t already make your heart sing with joy, the news gets better: 30% of net proceeds from the adorable five-piece collection benefit the incredible nonprofit, Dress for Success.

I love how these three powerful brands are working together to help women express their best selves, and I’m even happier we can use this TMS (The Modern Savvy) community to highlight this cause (and cute collection!). I have a sign in front of my desk that reads, “What Would Oprah Do”… I’m clearly into this.

So let’s jump into it! The collection features too cute stripes, gingham and ladybugs with a cool prepster vibe inspired by that adorable bug that’s a symbol of luck and abundance. As you can see here, I especially love pairing preppier pieces with more casual items like this army green jacket with pom pom details I’m so obsessed with, distressed denim, sandals and more.

How fun is this lady bug scarf? Oprah approved, obvs. 😉 Tie it around your purse, your neck, your wrist… or make it a headband for a new look.

I’m so in love with these wavy detailed slides. At under $30 and available in four colors, they’re such a gorgeous steal. I love the bright pink, and the black too (it’s hard to find cute black sandals!). Plus, if you’re like me and have a hard time with flip flops or super strappy sandals, these stay put on my feet without being bulky. I get that I fully sound 80 saying that, but you get me, right?
