Happy New Year!
I am so not one for a “New Year, New You” mantra because hey, I think we were all pretty great just a few days ago. No need to change. For some reason that bothers me.
BUT… we are each capable of more and better.
Make this your year. It started on a Monday for a reason. Because we’re starting this year fresh and ready to roll.
With this in mind, let’s band together here at The Modern Savvy (#themodernsavvy if you’re tagging on Instagram!), and challenge ourselves and each other to be the best version of ourselves.
WHAT THIS MEANS:
Let’s be clear: focusing on your wellness does not mean losing weight.
Wellness is about nourishing your body, your brain, and your overall well-being.
A really physically fit person can be terribly miserable.
Your goal in 2018 should be to feel strong, to feel empowered, to set goals and tangible action items to reach them, and to seek out the happiest version of you.
So, in 2018, I’m increasing wellness content, which definitely includes the Vent Sesh posts.
January will have a few wellness challenges and goals, and then look for weekly Wellness Wednesdays here at The Modern Savvy!
Please email or comment below if you have suggestions, questions or ideas for wellness content. This could mean questions you’d ask a counselor, a personal trainer, your best friend, a career or life coach.
If I don’t have the answer — because I’m definitely not an expert in all things (or very many at all, lol) — I’ll enlist my best resources to get the answer, and share the answers here.
