Casual Holiday Party Outfit

Welcome to part two of the “casual holiday party outfit”. Sure, fab glam dresses are fun to twirl around in and there are certainly occasions where it’s a must, but if you’re anything like me, 90% of my holiday festivities include me wearing denim…. and 50/50 that kids will be in tow.

To feel festive for a casual holiday party (especially in a warmer climate), it’s all about the details. Think lace, pearls, embellishments, rich colors like burgundy and olive green, or a little sparkle… that’s where you can easily add that holiday feel.

This sweater from H&M is the perfect example. It’s lightweight, insanely gorgeous — I mean, pearl details these days are my favorite! — and makes a statement whether I’m with the kids at a holiday house party, or going to date night with Adam. Same goes for the heels… I’m living for these pearl details and the lower block heel makes it so comfortable and easy to walk (or somewhat chase kids!) in.
