As much as I love the ease of summer attire — cotton tees and denim cut-offs — there’s something so beautiful about all the festive, cozy clothing this time of year. From plaids and reds to lace and chunky sweaters, I love it all.
This pink peplum is one of my favorite recent closet additions; I spotted it during the recent J. Crew mega sale and loved how it could be dresesd up or down, and worn winter and summer (paired with white denim!). The fit is perfect (not too short or boxy) and that bright pop of color brings life to any outfit, and your complexion.
To show its immediate versatility, check out how cute it is paired with a splashy sequin skirt, as well as it is paired with grey denim (equally cute with blue or black, too). You can also pair it with slacks and a blazer for work. Blouses like this are instant wardrobe workhorses…. heck, anything that can work seamlessly from a date night to a holiday party, to the office to weekend brunch is a win in my book closet!
Blouse: J. Crew (wearing size 2)// Skirt: Express (try this or this) // Heels: Zara (similar here, or love this strappy pair on mega sale)// Clutch: Rebecca Minkoff (I honestly meant to wear it with this leopard clutch from Talbots!) // Earrings: Kendra Scott // Ring: Baublebar
Second outfit: // Blouse: J. Crew (wearing size 2)// Denim: Banana Republic (fit TTS)// Jacket: Kut from the Kloth (on sale) // Boots: Ann Taylor (try this or this) // Purse: Rebecca Minkoff // Choker/Wrap: Vanessa Mooney

December 7, 2016 at 5:15 PMI can’t blame you for not passing up on the deal. The blouse looks wonderful on you. I’m glad you’re bringing color to an otherwise cold & dreary season. :]

December 7, 2016 at 2:41 PMThe pink is definitely a standout shade – and truthfully if I saw it on the rack I’d probably pass it by, but it really looks so gorgeous on you!

December 7, 2016 at 2:28 PMLOVE this! That pink is so fun and not necessarily a color people would think of for fall/winter. Both looks are great, but that sequin skirt is especially gorgeous on you!
