Every year I decide I’m not going to dress up to go trick-or-treating with the kids around the ‘hood and every year, about 24 hours before, I regret that decision and in a panic, try to put something together. Last year, I convinced Adam to dress up with me as the game, Operation, and it turned out pretty cute!
This year, I might wind up in a cute halloween-themed tee or tank (Target had so many this year!), otherwise, I’m loving the fun options below. There are a million ideas out there for last minute costumes but the list quickly dwindles when you want to be able to wear the costume during day light… and there are children present, if you know what I mean. Plus, I’m all about comfortable footwear for trekking around the neighborhood, and a cozier outfit, you know, since candy is basically my dinner.
Cactus (so cute with your mini)
Starbucks Coffee (just swap out for boots or flats)
Snapchat filters (obsessed!)
Minnie Mouse (even easier: use a red skirt)

October 27, 2016 at 9:46 AMIf you dance or have a child in dance class being a ballerina bunny from Lisa Frank is a good idea because you will have the majority of the stuff required- leotard, tights, and tutu. Bunny ears and the tail are cheap- it was $5 at Walmart. You can get tiaras from the dollar store. That is what I am being for Halloween. 🙂

October 27, 2016 at 4:57 PMDid you just make a Lisa Frank reference?! LOVE. A girl after my own heart… what a cute idea.

October 27, 2016 at 8:45 AMThat cactus is awesome! I also love the Operation idea… I think Walmart loved it too – I saw an adult sized Operation sleeper in there a few days ago!

October 27, 2016 at 6:59 AMI am totally stressed out not knowing what I’m going to be for Halloween right now. I have pink hair at the moment so I might just go ahead and be a unicorn or Wanda from the Fairly Odd Parents. I could DIY both easily I think! I love the cactus idea, that’s definitely new this year!
