Let’s be honest with each other ladies. I’m happiest in a tee and jeans. You? The colors might vary but I just love it, and how footwear could change the entire vibe. Imagine this with sexy heels — now date night. Put on a pair of fun striped espadrilles — girls brunch. What about fancy flats — casual Friday.
Ok, so t-shirts. I swear my girlfriends always talk about where to get a good tee. Do yours get holes in them?! I love the “tissue cotton” thing but yeah, that’s just code word for holy mess in three washes. I’m loving this super soft Lush tee that I got during the Nordstrom sale (couldn’t resist the olive green!). Looking for other t-shirt options? I’ve become a huge fan of tees by Madewell… they’re under $20, lightweight & yet have a slightly thicker cotton that lasts (does this make sense?! Am I the only other crazy person evaluating cotton?!). Beyond this, I have been really happy with this and this, too.
When it comes to sneakers, there are so many styles that could fit your vibe. For example, I love what I’m wearing but I also love a more streamlined one like this that comes in a gorgeous berry (they’re made for “big kids” but just adjust your size!), the classic Stan Smith and of course Converse can’t be beat. If you saw yesterday’s post, you’d know those gold sneakers would also make every casual look better.

September 3, 2016 at 1:25 PMThis tee really has the perfect amount of drape. Old Navy has a great tee selection right now too. I’ve been dying to order your sneakers but have the all white pair so I’m not sure I can justify it!

September 1, 2016 at 10:20 PMYou are so right, switch up the accessories and jeans and a tee can be so much. Love your necklace here!
I’m glad to see olive green is going to be a thing for the fall, I’ve got two very old olive pieces that haven’t gotten a lot of love, but I couldn’t bear to part with them. Hopefully there will be a resurgence this fall.

August 31, 2016 at 6:57 PMRead this post and immediately followed your link and ordered the tee in an orange-ish color. Still on sale!! I have learned the hard way that cheap tees are a waste of $!

August 31, 2016 at 9:28 PMWOohoo, so glad you got it on sale, too! Cheap tees are never worth it. Those madewell ones I mentioned are also great (I have a white and a gray that have held up well).

August 31, 2016 at 7:24 AMI love a good tshirt and jeans combo, but have the hardest time finding jeans for my short little legs. I need a “26 inseam (at the longest!) ugh. Always on the hunt for the perfect drapey tshirt though. I’ll have to honestly check out the Madewell ones if they’re less than $20 then that fits the budget!
