Outfit: Blogging All Day

Sometimes you just want to ignore the style rules of summer brights and put on your cozy black denim, even if it is June and 94 degrees outside. Can never go wrong with what feels right. Plus, the tassels — notice how I’m mixing black and brown? — and the summery espadrilles “summer-ize” the look.

Because the surgery has been something I’ve been considering all season I haven’t been purchasing many tops or dresses (which doesn’t make it easy to share a fresh look here each Wednesday). That said, I couldn’t resist this cute under $15 tee that I’ve worn with denim shorts and now with black denim. I’ve seen distressed tees (I guess that’s the term?!) for $80-$90, which I personally think is insane, but this, with a fun saying… yes, please.
