When it comes to summer style, I love for it to feel effortless, chic and fun.
To update my wardrobe for spring, I was excited to take out my embellished clutches that — while might seem like “what do I wear with them” at first — goes with everything, and instantly elevates anything you pair with it (think your go-to solids). I’ve recently been on the hunt for nude heels, and initially wanted these but after never being available in my size I saw these and immediately pulled the trigger. I’ve been thrilled with the purchase; the chunkier block heel, on trend this season, makes it so much more comfortable for a night out (they don’t have to be “dinner shoes!” — you girls know what I’m talking about!) and the fun strappy detail adds personality to every outfit. I recently wore them with a white romper, seen on Instagram.
I’ll be sharing my favorite nude shoes for spring and summer soon; swapping out your black or darker heels with a nude heel, sandal or flat immediately lights your look and makes your legs look longer. Sign me up for that.
On a quick side note: this Banana Republic blouse is only available now in limited sizes but I LOVE it so much; see how the front is straight across instead of elastic? It doesn’t ride up like most other off-the-shoulder looks. More brands need to do this. For sizing, I’m wearing the XS; the small petite was too short and boxy.
Blouse: Banana Republic // Denim: J. Brand (old, I cut the hems off; try it on these or these) // Heels: BCBGeneration // Clutch: Star Mela (older; similar here) // Earrings: Kendra Scott // Bracelet: Alexandra Gioia (more from her shop) // Lips: Fresh in tulip

May 13, 2016 at 9:12 AMI didn’t get the skirt at the time — really trying to save, however I have to confess I’ve been thinking about it; different from anything else I own.
