Without a doubt, lace-up flats, heels, sandals and every other type of footwear are having a major moment. They’re just a hint sexy, chic and more dressed up that your basic footwear. Pair them with anything this spring: a little lace-up can be office appropriate even in the most conservative spaces (I’ve seen it), and lace-up flats elevate just about any basic tee and denim look.
I had a pair of nude faux leather ones from Gap that lesson learned — didn’t wear well — so I purchased these. I absolutely love a pair of nude flats, the type that goes with just about any outfit. I initially wanted this cognac pair (a bargain!) but they’ve been out of my size for a while. See, for example, how cute does a pair of strappy flats make this outfit look?
Want a pair for yourself? Here are my favorite finds (heads up that many are available in variable colors so click through if you like a style).

May 3, 2016 at 3:44 PMThey are cute and it’s a comfortable way to wear pointy shoes without the pain. They are flat so your toes don’t slide into the pointy area and they’re tied to your ankle so your feet don’t migrate into the pinchy part of the shoe. I have a cute pink pair!

April 18, 2016 at 6:41 PMI am obsessed with lace up flats! I have two pairs (so far!) I also have those vince camuto block heel lace ups and they are seriously the most comfortable shoes ever. When those bad boys go on sale I am buying at least 2 more pairs! ha!
