Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving!! The best holiday sales are coming in so hot… it’s frankly burning up my inbox! I plan to keep this post updated throughout the weekend so check back here. Instead of sharing an insane run down of every sale out there — that majorly overwhelms me personally — I wanted to share with you the sales I’m loving and the best finds at each.
A few shopping tips to stay on track during these best holiday sales: buy what you need and what you can afford. Do not buy what others — bloggers included! — say you need. This includes four of the same sweater, or so you can have a “slipper rotation” (seriously, WTF is this and why did I really see a blogger who I do adore share this?!). Create a list so you don’t overbuy. Save receipts so you can return once all the packages arrive. Remember experiences and memories count more than things. Within reason, I’m always willing to spend more on tickets or an experience than a gift or toy.

Forget the ’90s Abercrombie we all remember, it’s SO good now. I used to save for designer denim, no longer… I’m obsessed with Abercrombie jeans (which I found thanks to other 30-something bloggers!)… they seriously make your tush look good, fit well all around, have tons of washes, sizes and styles, and I like how they don’t have any seam detailing on the back pockets. I also love their thermals, ribbed body suits, etc., and I LOVE Abercrombie Kids (which I only found this summer!) for Sarah.
OLD NAVY:
Take 50% off everything, no exclusions! I just popped in there a couple of days ago and was SO impressed! I definitely got the sports bra and velvet pants shown below, and have a few more of these items now in my cart (I’ll share my try-on via Instagram stories ASAP).

I’ve renewed my love with Ann Taylor this year and have picked up so many good pieces that I’ve used for working, for speaking, and just nicer evenings out. I’m also a huge fan of their shoes – they’re beautiful, fit well and nicely constructed. My only frustration candidly is the clothing sizing; I waver between a petite and regular (petite in most dresses, skirts and pants, regular in tops), and then always have to size down, too.
