How to Style Levis High Rise 721

I’m a jeans girl. Yet I can’t believe before this year I hadn’t owned a pair of Levi’s. That all changed with the Levis High Rise 721 jeans with the busted knee that officially became the go-to denim of the year, with swarms of bloggers /women scooping them up. These Levis High Rise clearly have been popular “closet staple” among so many of us (I styled mine here) that I’m excited to share lots of style inspiration and ideas how to wear them.

A high rise skinny, the Levi’s 721 comes in 18 colors/styles on the Levi’s web site and likely rose to fame because of it’s cool look, classic style and let’s be honest: higher waist that sucks it all in. They’re also 99% cotton and 1% elastane so they’re not stretchy, without stretching out. They run TTS; I wear my traditional size 27. For the inseam, they run long (you can only select your inseam on the Levi’s site) so you’ll see below that bloggers have cuffed, cut, hemmed, or tucked their Levis High Rise under depending on the pant.

Three most popular washes: the “rugged indigo” lighter wash; the darker “rough day” wash, and a cool “washed black.” I purchased mine on Shopbop, which features nine styles, and the darker wash, great for a slightly dressier look, is available on Nordstrom.
