Mother Daughter Style: Weekend Beach Day

It’s been way too long… which is why I’m back with another Mother Daughter style post! Confession: capturing photos of us together during summer with later camp days has been intensely challenging so we had fun during a recent beach day capturing our go-to weekend casual looks.

We’re both denim shorts kind of girls (I wonder where she gets that from!), and Sarah has been coveting all these cold-shoulder and off-the-shoulder blouses. Since she’s umm, seven (going on 17!), I’m really mindful of finding age-appropriate styles. I love this one from Target, which has straps and also stays put on her shoulders, even as she runs around. Plus, how pretty is this print?! I’d fully buy it in my size!

Oh! And I bought this tee on a whim at Target. The navy stripes would look equally cute with white denim and it’s so stinkin’ soft. Chilly? Layer over a green cargo jacket for some visual interest.
