The 35 Best Books to Read This Summer

Memorial Day weekend officially signifies the start of summer, and hopefully some downtime for each of us. I always have this vision of relaxing pool side with a cocktail and great, which is pretty funny with a seven year old and three year old in tow. Still, it’s possible, and to get in the summer spirit, here is a pretty awesome list of the 35 best books to read this summer 2017. Grab one for the beach, the next rainy day or your next vacation.

Reading for me has admittedly taken a backseat but I’m eager to re-prioritize it… I love reading, and it’s something I want to better demonstrate to my kiddos too (instead of grabbing for the phone or remote!). Check out this list of the best books to read this summer, a mix of dynamic new releases, popular ones from recent years and a few notable inspirational reads, too.

Such a great list! I’ve read a bunch of them, but always looking for new titles to add to my to-read list. Are you on Goodreads? It’s super helpful if you want to keep track of what you’ve read and get recommendations for new books. You can also see what your friends have read, and add their faves to your to-read list. I have the app on my phone too, so I don’t have to use Notes to keep track of recommendations anymore 🙂

I’ve heard that about Goodreads but I need to get the reading ball rolling before I go that route. I’ve heard a few bloggers who share that way — love that idea!
