9 Insanely Delicious, Easy Brussel Sprouts Recipes

9 Insanely Delicious and Easy Brussel Sprouts Recipes

Have I lost you with the headline? While they might have been the veggie you hated most growing up, brussels have gotten a makeover in recent years and prepared well, are insanely delicious. Swear to you. Get ready to change your perception on the brussel sprout. This little cabbage deserves your attention.

And, yup, okay, so they might be extra delicious loaded up with crispy bacon (what isn’t?!) but there really are so many good ways to prepare them that don’t take much effort and yield maximum flavor.

If you’re a newbie to Brussel sprouts or you’re simply looking to expand beyond your broccoli habit, try this green and test out one of these recipes. Even more simply then these, I often cut them in half, pour on some olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder, and roast them at 400 degrees. Try Ina Garten’s recipe; seriously, she knows what’s up. Or, head to a Trader Joe’s; they have so many options, including shredded brussels perfect for salads (I eat it raw) or cooked.

My husband loves anything with buffalo sauce. I might actually be able to get him to eat brussels sprouts now!

I never thought of a brussel ricotta pizza, though that would be good. I just did a baby spinach ricotta one the other night.. and had leftovers for lunch today. Yum.

Brussel sprouts are by far my favorite veggie right now – I hated them as a kid and was forced to retry them after going Paleo and I couldn’t believe how much I loved them. I usually chop mine up and cook them with bacon, onion & mushroom but some of these recipes look SO good! Can’t wait to try the one with sweet potatoes!

Same! I dont even think we had them as a kid but they’re so good. I love your recipe but so cool how there are so many ways to eat them. I love them a little crispy (and you can never go wrong with bacon). If you have a TOoJay’s near you, they have a great brussels dish.

I used to HATE these things but now they are DELICIOUS! I will warn though, make sure you don’t burn the balsamic on these because if you do, the smell does NOT make you want some or to be in your house for a few days.
