Outfit: Striped Dress with Bow Heels

Doesn’t everyone walk this effortlessly between meetings? Ha, if only. I’m usually walking like I recently had about four espresso shots, trying to multi-task while in a light sweat in this 90 degree heat.  I’ve been such a flats girl this summer but these bow heels have me converted and eager for Fall. I was candidly shocked at just how comfortable they were (I was prancing around for a long time and they were still comfortable), and I mean, bows. They come in four colors, including a classic black and the prettiest fuchsia you’ve ever seen. I’m officially smitten. Wondering how else to style them? Pair them with ankle ponte pants or denim, and imagine how beautiful they’ll look this winter with a lace dress.

The striped dress, also a Banana Republic find, is part of the store’s early fall collection and is so pretty. If you’re between sizes, I recommend sizing up as the material doesn’t have much stretch (I’m wearing a 2P for reference); it’s also an instant classic and I love how it drapes away from the hips. I couldn’t decide on jewelry, so I put on this gold choker I purchased earlier in the summer. I was being adventurous — kind of on the fence if I was cool enough to pull of a choker — but I now love the freaking thing. It’s honestly amazing, plus it’s currently on sale, and is super cute with a tee. I’ve also worn it more than I would have for work since it’s a classic gold and not so super tight on my neck.
