My favorite smart and stylish girlfriend, Ceci Dadisman, is back sharing the latest ways you can save money on items you’ve been hanging onto in those online carts (we all do that, right?). Excited to continue to bring you these GEEK CHIC guest posts so let us know if there’s anything techy content you’re looking to learn!
We’ve all been there. You’ve got a few must-have items in your online shopping cart that you’ve been coveting for months. Maybe they’re not on sale but you just have to have them. Or maybe they are a discounted price, but of course you’re always looking for an even better deal.
Meet your new best friend: Honey. Honey is a browser extension for Google Chrome that automatically finds coupon/promo codes for you and tries all of them during checkout. Fantastic, right?!
So, after you install Honey (just click on this link), it will automatically let you know when it has coupon codes for the online retailer site that you’re currently viewing.
When you get to your shopping cart, it will ask you if you would like it to run through all of the coupon codes it has on file. One by one, it will try all of the coupon codes with out you even having to lift a finger. This process is super fast and you can watch it working in real-time!
After it tries all of the codes, it will automatically apply the best coupon code to your order. If it doesn’t find a coupon code that works, it will let you know that as well.
I’ve saved hundreds of dollars using Honey thus far and it only takes a few seconds to set it up. Try it out and let me know how you like it! Happy saving!
