Outfit: Pardon My French

While it’s fully 87 degrees in Florida this week, we did have a cool front a few weeks back which prompted this $10 sweatshirt impulse purchase from Old Navy. I’m a sucker for grey, anything with a fun expression and anything cozy so I mean, who would expect me to have the willpower to say no? It’s no longer available but I love this tee with the same saying.
During that same online buy, I also purchased this new pair of denim from Gap. They’re soooo comfy. I recently saw a friend wearing what I thought was designer denim and it was these. The blue hue, slight distressing, great stretch, flattering tush pockets and distressed hem add up to a solid pair of denim. I have a similar lighter pair from Gap last year (like this) that I love and these fit just as well. What I like about these is that they can be Friday casual appropriate, stretchy enough for weekends with the kids or dressed up with a camisole for a night out. They’re not so torn up that you might not feel age appropriate either. I can see a 26 or 62 year old gorgeously styling these.

I’ve also been layering on these pretty BaubleBar initial letter necklaces as of late. I’ve been gravitating toward delicate jewelry and I love how these — blinged out with my kiddies initials — feel special and personal, all with a contemporary adult style.
