Outfit: Style Essentials (& Shoe Swap x 3!)

CargoPants_ShoeSwap

The thing about outfit essentials — cargo pants, denim button down and leopard — is that they go with absolutely everything. You’ve seen the cargo pants and leopard print shoes inspiration, and a button down can be paired with anything from these pants to a sequin pencil skirt! I wore the leopard flats look to work yesterday for a casual day at the office and couldn’t resist making quick shoe changes to share how easy it is to make a minor tweak for a new look. If it’s cooler where you live, layer on a blanket scarf, add a chunky cardigan or add some cute booties. You just don’t want to hide the cute ankle zipper details in these pants. denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!) denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!) gold details denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!)

By the way, this tote by Lands’ End is now on major clearance, and is so great. It comes with a cross body strap but I like that the handle is long/comfy enough under my arm that I don’t need it. It’s also ultra lightweight and functions from everything from a carryall or even pool tote, to weekend or anytime bag (I tossed my chunkier cardigan in there for a movie date for example, with plenty of room). I’m also lazy so I love bags that go with everything so I used it this weekend with the kids, and now, it added a fun pop of color to my fall wardrobe.   denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!) denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!) denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!) denim shirt & cargo pants // three ways to wear (just swap out the footwear!)

The ads are covering the view and too darn annoying. I will not be back.

I am so sorry about this experience you had, Leela. I’m going to look into it ASAP; may I ask — were you on a desktop or mobile?

I can’t decide which ones I like better but I love how how just the shoes change the entire vibe of the outfit! Such a fun post!

Love this post – such a great idea and it really proves that once you have solid basics, they can be mixed & matched for so many different occasions!
