Plaid, Plaid, Plaid: Affordable & Chic Fall Home Updates

This post is sponsored by Target.

You know fall is here when plaid pops up everywhere on Instagram. Plaid button down overload, right? If we’re being honest though, I’ve never worn a lot of plaid. I adore it on everyone else yet it rarely feels right on me. So I’ve been thrilled to see Target embracing the print in a big way, particularly in the home department. This is a trend I can get behind. Anyone else going into Target lately for shampoo, by the way, and find yourself in the home section two hours later, compelled you need a house redo? Serious problem.

You might have seen that Target recently unveiled a new collection with designer, Adam Lippes that’s filled with pieces for you (I was raving about these heels and flats on Instagram), your home, and even your pets. I am adoring the over-sized, neutral and chic checks on much of the collection. Switching out a few pieces in your home, like pillows, throws, accessories and kitchenware is an easy way to give your home a fall vibe, and at a nominal expense. For example, not pictured here, but I snagged this beautiful candle that smells so yummy, and this monogram mug for under $4 is a major victory for any of you tea, coffee and hot chocolate fans (plus, equally adorable yet 1/3 price of a similar style by another brand. Apparently “looks for less” happen with mugs, too!).

… ps: not eating this entire plate of pumpkin and chocolate donuts in one sitting was a pretty major feat. We might still have a knife in the donut box for on-the-go sampling.

So big question: Will you play by the traditional rules or break the rules this season with a fun infusion of Target plaid? Use #TargetStyle to share your finds.

Everything is so cute at Target right now! Then again, when isn’t it? (Those donuts are looking extra good right now!)

The home pieces are my favorite part of this collection! I love the pieces you picked. And now I’m gonna need a donut…

That fringe blanket is calling my name – really needing to replace our old one that the kids have used to make forts too many times! 🙂
