Spiked Berry Smoothie // The Average Girl's Gudie

Sometimes you need a cocktail, just because. No grand reason but it’s nice to take the edge off with something refreshing and satisfying when you finally have that moment to relax and exhale. My husband and I love making smoothies so we thought, what if we added a little vodka to one during a lazy Sunday at home? By lazy I naturally mean I’ve already been to the gym, survived a kid’s birthday party, did up at least seven errands and cleaned up the ongoing mess happening inside my home. I deserve it, and I love the idea of a spiked smoothie — refreshing in more ways than one!

You guys know I love my Pinnacle Vodka® so I used the original version for this delicious spiked smoothie, though this would be equally yummy with a majority of the brand’s more than 40 flavors. Switch it up with raspberry, citrus, cucumber watermelon, strawberry shortcake, pineapple, vanilla or the whipped version.Spiked Berry Smoothie // The Average Girl's Gudie

Ingredients
3/4 oz. Pinnacle® Vodka
4 strawberries
6 raspberries
5 blueberries
3 oz. apple juice
2/3 oz. honey
Handful of ice cubes
(optional: yogurt or a dash of milk)

Directions
Combine all ingredients into a blender until smooth. Pour into a high glass, grab a star, and if you’re ambitious add an apple slice.

Yay – a cocktail recipe I can actually drink! Love that this doesn’t have any simple syrups in it and is just sweetened with fruit & honey – that’s my jam!! Will definitely be trying this one 🙂
